as i laid dOwn in bed last night, i realised that i'm a little upset.

2007 is the first time in many years that i actually did nOt celebrate christmas. i've always had images in my head that christmas in france is sO gOing tO be a blast! the cOmplete OppOsite, it was. nO gOOfiness. nO santa hats. nO themed parties. nO festive spread. nO presents. nO ditzy girls. nO warm fuzzy feeling. nOthing!

it was just like any Other day...

i'm back in the Office with much reluctance. did nOt sleep a wink last night. a lethal cOmbinatiOn Of jet lag and jOb-induced depressiOn.

am finally dOne clearing the hundreds Of glaring emails in my micrOsOft OutlOOk. wish i have all my tOOls tO start uplOading pretty phOtOs while waiting fOr chris tO knOckOff. might just dO it On facebOOk tO lessen the agOny Of the wait. Oh well, can't access facebOOk frOm the Office anyway. what a bOther.

sigh. it's nOw 3 days tO the end Of this backpacking adventure! surprisingly, i did nOt take as many phOtOs as expected. current cOunt is probably arOund 2000? quality Over quantity, i hOpe. will definitely burn a hOle in my pOcket develOping them!

despite the reluctance tO return tO my dull and bOring wOrk life, i miss yOu peeps! and there's really nO place else where yOu'll feel yOu truly belOng than in yOur hOme cOuntry. nO discriminatiOn and insider-Outsider differentiatiOn Of sOrts.

it's arOund 3am here. we finally managed tO get back safe and sOund frOm the cOuntdOwn party near the lOndOn eye. the party peOple were really wacky. tOO much bOOze maybe. teens Over here are incredibly rude and fOul-mOuthed. nO excuse fOr incOnsiderate behaviOur at any time! my legs are tired frOm all the standing. what a start tO the new year. shall have sOme shut eye nOw. it's westminster area explOratiOn later in the day *yawn*
