hey peeps... this is gOing tO be Our last public hOliday till august! yes, tragic dry spell ahead. plan tO dO sOme shOpping. thOugh i'm suppOsed tO be studying fOr my papers... sheesh. financial assets, markets, fOrmulas, definitiOns, etc. Oh well, gOt tO get them Over and dOne with since i've signed myself up fOr them. been wanting tO blOg but things have just been way crazy in the Office. leave cOverage, cOmplicated accOunts, suppOrt wOrk, adhOc stuff. i'm sO freaking tired!

am putting On the pOunds. has gOt tO be all the fastfOOd, bubble tea, suppers, high-calOrie, high-fat gOOdies i've been stuffing dOwn my thrOat. least tO say the upcOming internatiOnal dinner buffet treat this friday. dO hOpe i can get myself On a detOx diet. feeling inspired after the pantry chat with the big bOss. we shall see if this materialises.

nightlife

i'm all fOr the smOke ban in clubs! hate smelling like a walking cigarette after a wild night Out. sOme smOkers just have this blatant disregard fOr the health Of Others. especially HATE thOse whO deliberately blOw smOke in yOur face. dear babes, stay smOke-free. we dO nOt want tO bOOst the tObaccO industry, dO we?

i adOre witty cOmmercials/trailers and i've recently been tickled by a few:
1) M1 - hellO, mumbai! india!
2) Spell Cast - singapOre best fried lice!
3) F&N and Pokka - can yOu give me anything? - this cOmmercial is very lOcalised, extremely catchy but we have a mind Of Our Own tO knOw what we want tO cOnsume instead Of amusing Ourselves with randOmly-flavOured beverages. the nOvelty will sOOn wear Off.

if yOu're lOOking fOr value-fOr-mOney thai cuisine, ah lOy thai @ shaw tOwer is the chOice fOr yOu. recOmmended dishes include the tOm yum sOups, thai fish cake, phat thai... the pineapple rice is, hOwever, pretty lOcalised. tastes sOmewhat like seafOOd fried rice with pineapple. nOt that i'm cOmplaining, cOs it's still quite yummy.
